UCL Sri Lanka successfully conducted the “TeachX” Teacher Training Programme under the UCL Teacher Empowerment Series, inspiring educators from Springfield College, Horizon College International, Buddhist Ladies College, and Colombo International School. The session focused on the use of AI and digital tools in secondary education, providing valuable insights into transforming classrooms for the future. Thought-provoking sessions were conducted by Professor Hiran Amarasekara on Use of AI and Digital Tools in Secondary Education, Dr. Devangi Perera, Head of Business School on Critical Thinking and QBL, and Mr. Nalith Fernando, Senior Lecturer at UCL, who shared Student Mental Health and Resilience Strategies for Teachers. This initiative reflects UCL’s commitment to empowering Sri Lanka’s educators with innovation, technology, and leadership for a future-ready education system.
