Overview
The BSc (Hons) Software Engineering degree teaches you to design, build and test software as part of a team. You start with programming, networking, databases and security, then move on to agile development and cross-platform apps.
In your final year you study distributed systems and data science, choose an elective, and complete your own honours project. If you take the work placement option, you spend Year 3 working in industry before you return for your final year.
