Frequently asked questions
Who can send a request?
Principals, deputy and sectional heads, teachers, teachers-in-charge of clubs and societies, old students’ associations and parents. Students can ask their teacher-in-charge to send the request for their club or event.
What can we ask for?
Career guidance sessions, workshops and masterclasses, leadership programmes, competition partnerships, teacher training, event or club sponsorship, a UCL stand at your education fair, or a campus visit for your students. You can also tell us about something else.
Can UCL sponsor our school event or club?
You can request sponsorship for school events and club or society programmes. Tell us about the event, the date, who it is for and the support you need. The team reviews each request and gets back to you.
Do you work with schools outside Colombo?
Tell us your district in the form. Our team will confirm what is possible for your school and date.
How much notice do you need?
The earlier the better. A few weeks’ notice gives the team time to plan speakers, materials and the best date for your school.
Can our students visit the UCL campus?
Yes, you can request a campus visit for a group of students. Choose “Campus visit for students” in the form and add the number of students.
