How it works

  1. Create your account or log in. First time? Your Student ID, name, email and a password, in one step. Next time, just log in.
  2. Enter the amount and pay on the bank’s page. You are taken to Sampath Bank’s secure page to enter your card.
  3. Get your receipt. We email it to you straight away. Keep it for your records.

Paying for a student? Parents and sponsors can pay too. Log in with the student’s account, or create it with the student’s ID and name.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I need an account?

Sampath Bank requires every card payment to be linked to a registered student, for security. Your account also keeps your payment history, and next time you only need to log in.

Where do I find my Student ID?

It is on your student ID card and on your fee statement. If you cannot find it, call or WhatsApp us and we will tell you.

Which cards can I use?

Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards. You enter your card details on Sampath Bank’s secure page, so UCL never sees your card number.

How do I know my payment went through?

You will see a “Payment received” page and get a receipt by email. If you do not get the email within an hour, check your spam folder or contact us.

My payment failed. What should I do?

No money is taken for a failed payment. Check your card details and that your card is enabled for online payments, then try again. If it fails again, contact your bank or WhatsApp us.

Can I pay part of my fees?

Yes. Enter the amount you want to pay now. Make sure you pay the full amount by the due date on your fee statement.

Can I get a refund?

Fees are non-refundable. See the fee payment terms for details.
