Maduranga Pillai has more than ten years of experience in higher education, covering teaching, programme leadership and curriculum development in engineering, physics and applied sciences. He is Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader for the Monash College Diploma STEM programmes at UCL, and leads UCL LaunchPad.
He holds postgraduate qualifications in business studies and higher education, with a SEDA-recognised teaching qualification. His teaching is built around project-based and inquiry-driven learning, and his students have been finalists in HackaDev, the National Youth Social Innovation Challenge.
