Accounting (MUF0021 & MUF0022)

Accounting is the process of recording and reporting financial data, and plays an important role in the successful operation and management of any business. In order to be able to meet the requirements of these processes, accountants will need to be problem solvers, critical thinkers, communicators and organised individuals.

Biology(MUF0031 & MUF0032)

It also provides the student with a scientific framework upon which to build hypotheses and design valid, controlled experiments.

Chemistry (MUF0041 & MUF0042)

Chemistry provides insights into natural phenomena at the molecular level, a framework of knowledge for the development of new materials and the means for the attainment of a sustainable environment for the future. The use of the language and symbols of chemistry is practiced, and the application of formulae and equations to explain observations and data collected from experiments is reinforced.

Economics (MUF0061 & MUF0062)

Economics is the study of making choices. It involves analysing economic decision making about how limited resources are allocated to produce goods and services to satisfy people’s unlimited needs and wants. The study of economics is critical to understanding why individuals, firms and societies behave as they do. When you learn to think like an economist, you will view life differently and make more effective decisions.
