Madhuka Sriyananda is a Lecturer at UCL, teaching mathematics on the Monash University Foundation Year, the British Foundation Programme and the NCC International Foundation Year. She has more than ten years of experience in higher education, teaching engineering and business mathematics, calculus, linear algebra, differential equations and statistics.
Before joining UCL, she was Lecturer and Programme Lead for the NCUK International Foundation Year at APIIT, Colombo, and Assistant Lecturer and Programme Coordinator at Nawaloka College of Higher Studies, Kandy. She holds a BSc (Hons) Special Degree in Mathematics with Second Class Upper Division from the University of Peradeniya, is reading for an MSc in Applied Statistics, and has completed the Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education at the University of Colombo.

Previously Lecturer and Programme Lead for the NCUK International Foundation Year at APIIT, Colombo, and Assistant Lecturer and Programme Coordinator at Nawaloka College of Higher Studies, Kandy. Also taught at the Department of Mathematics, University of Peradeniya.
