Monash College Programmes


a. Monash University Foundation Year

To be accepted into Monash University Foundation Year, you must meet the academic and English language requirements. You will also need to check the age, subject and course prerequisites before you apply.

Age

  • o Minimum 16 years of Age (If you do not meet the age requirements, you may be offered a deferred place) Monash University Foundation Year
  • English Language Requirement

  • o You have completed Australian Year 11.
  • o Your Australian Year 11 equivalent program was taught in English.Monash College Diploma of Engineering
  • o You achieved satisfactory grades in your English language subjects.

Alternatively, you need to achieve the minimum score in one of the following English tests.

b. Monash College Diploma

To be accepted into a Monash College Diploma, you must meet the academic and English language requirements. You will also need to check the age, subject and course prerequisites before you apply.

Age

Minimum 16 years of Age for Part 1 and 17 years of Age for part 2 (If you do not meet the age requirements, you may be offered a deferred place)

GCE A Levels Total score of a maximum of the best 3 A Level subject examinations taken within two years. *
Two AS level subjects can be counted in place of one A level subject but conditions apply.
Grading Scale: A(a) = 5, B(b) = 4, C(c) = 3, D(d) = 2, E(e) = 1, U = 0.

*Subject examinations taken within two years may include more than one sitting. For example subject examinations in June 2012 until June 2014 are acceptable.

a. Professional Diploma in Psychology and Business

Entry Requirements

Sri Lankan General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level – Pass grade (A-S), or equivalent, ie. UK GCE


or
Sri Lankan CE Ordinary Level – Pass grade (A-C) in English and Mathematics, or equivalent, ie. UK GCSE Plus the NCC Education International Foundation Year (IFY)



3. University of Central Lancashire Programmes


a. UCL International Foundation Year

Minimum of 5 passes in the GCE Ordinary Level with Credit passes in English & Mathematics. or equivalent qualification acceptable to UCL/ University of Central Lancashire, UK.
