Overview

A Monash College Diploma of Engineering provides a pathway into the second year of a Monash University engineering or information technology (IT) degree. * In Diploma of Engineering Part 2, you will have the option to choose a specialisation or stream:

  • o Engineering
  • o IT

The stream you choose will depend on whether you want to study engineering or IT at university. You will study subjects such as Applied Mathematics, Computing for Engineers, Data Management, and Computers and Networks.

Programme Structure

Diploma in Engineering Part 2 consists of three trimesters over 12 months. During your first trimester you can choose one elective depending on your interests and the degree you wish to apply for. For your second and third trimesters, choose five electives to complete over eight months.

Delivery Method

The programme is taught face-to-face through lectures and tutorials.
